Calculating PDUs

Calculating PDUs for the PMI-SAC Conference 2008

If you hold a PMI designation (CAPM/PMP/PgMP) and you attend the PMI Southern Alberta Chapter Conference, you have the opportunity to earn up to 15 Category 3 Professional Development Units (PDUs).

We have simplified the PDU process this year.  You need enter only one Course Name with PMI to claim the 15 PDUs attainable when you attend both days of the conference.

You can find PDU numbers in two places:

  • on the PMI-SAC web site; and
  • as part of your personal schedule printed on the back of your conference name tag.

For complete information on how to track your personal PDUs, visit the PMI's online PDU requirements manual at: www.pmi.org/info/PDC_PMPCCR.asp

Reporting PDUs from the PMI-SAC Conference 2008

PMI designation holders will need to retain proof of participation in the conference. Your name tag, conference materials, electronic copies of any available speaker notes, and your payment receipt are great examples of the proof you will need.

Don't forget to report all of the available PDUs you collect from participating in this Conference. PMI has simplified the process by providing an online resource for this recording at: www.occe.ou.edu/pmi/PMI_Member/PDUlogin.php3
