Session Descriptions

There are two types of sessions in this year's conference:  hands-on workshops and "sit and listen" sessions.

Workshops are presented across an entire afternoon with one coffee break in the middle.  All workshops with the exception of one are only presented once. Participants sit at round tables in groups of 8-10 and interact with each other as well as their facilitator.

"Sit and listen" sessions are shorter and offer a variety of topics.  Once a participant chooses to attend a session in this stream, they remain in this stream for the rest of the day.  Learning in these sessions is done by listening to the presenter who stands at the front of the room while the participants sit in a theatre-style seating arrangement.
